In D-STAR è molto più semplice i reflector corrispondono a quelli reali.
Original DV4mini software has limitation to access so-called DMR Reflectors. That the reason why me did mapping of talking groups into reflectors.
Timeslot or Talkgroup selection are currently not support by the original firmware software. This is also the reason, that no private voice or data calls or direct repeater links can be made when using DV4mini with original software.
DV4MF2 MultiFunction Dualmode ControlPanel
The DV4MF2 Control Panel has been developed by DL2MF since November 2015 with the goal of seamless integration of all features of DV4mini and compatible operation to the original control panel software. After the formal review it now has officially been granted to be released by DG1HT since Jan, 3rd 2016.
Highlights of the DV4MF2 Control Panel are:
- user friendly and seamless integration of all modes including BrandMeister
- a dual skin control panel offering compact & standard view
- seamless switching between both modes without program restart or reconnect
- configurable options to disable QRZ.com request (save your dataplan when operating mobile)
- optional disable of S-Meter and CPU bargraphs
The compact view of the DV4MF2 Control Panel has been optimized for smaller 8″ tablets and normal daily operation. Support of very small displays like the touch display with 480×320 pixel was not in focus, although it also can be used with it.

Pre 20151212 versions of DV4mini on all platforms
The DV4mini is now also compatible with BrandMeister. This requires a modification of your hosts file. Hosts file is located in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc directory (Unther linux this is /etc/hosts). Open this file and add at the end of it following text:
Save the hosts file and restart your computer! Start the DV4mini control panel. Enter to the Expert Settings tab under “choose nearest DMR master” and choose BrandMeister that you want.
Doing this will break the ham-dmr.de website do this at your own risk
You can also use this tool for changing the hostfile http://www.sordum.org/8266/bluelifehosts-editor-v1-2/
DV4mini 20151212 on Linux
As we know, Hamburg Team changed schema of getting lists of Masters and Reflectors at version 3 of DV4mini software. They are not using host names anymore, just hardcoded IPs.
We analyzed possible solution and now it could me more easier for Linux that previous:
sudo iptables -t nat -I OUTPUT --dest 188.8.131.52 -p tcp --dport 80 -j DNAT --to-dest 184.108.40.206
To remove use following:
sudo iptables -t nat -D OUTPUT --dest 220.127.116.11 -p tcp --dport 80 -j DNAT --to-dest 18.104.22.168
Note: in most cases iptables rules will gone at reboot.
